Our website address is https://trainedadvisor.com. We provide marketing services to licensed insurance and financial professionals. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why, and what you can do about it.
Information We Collect:
Information you give us. When you request a guide, book a call, or sign up for anything on this site, we collect your name and email address. Some forms also ask for a phone number, a company name, or your state. You choose what to enter, and nothing on this site requires you to give us information in order to read it.
Information collected automatically. When you submit a form we also record technical and marketing context alongside your entry: the page you submitted from, the page you first landed on, the website that referred you, your browser and device type, your language and time zone, the date and time, and any campaign tags present in the link you arrived through (including utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, and the advertising click identifiers gclid, fbclid and li_fat_id).
Information stored in your browser. This site stores a small record in your browser noting when you first visited and how many times you have returned, so a repeat visitor is not treated as a brand new one. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.
Cookies and analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager on every page to understand which pages people read and which ones lead to an enquiry. Our booking pages also load the Meta (Facebook) pixel so we can measure whether our advertising produces conversations. Pages containing embedded YouTube videos load cookies from YouTube and Google when the video is present. Our hosting provider also sets cookies for security and performance.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below who process it on our behalf.
How We Use Your Information:
General Use: We use what you give us to send you the guide or resource you asked for, to follow up about our services, to schedule and confirm calls, and to improve the site. We use the automatically collected context to understand which marketing actually works, so we spend less of our budget on the parts that do not.
Email: If you request a resource, you are added to an email sequence related to it. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all marketing email from us.
SMS and Messaging Services: For our SMS and messaging services, we adhere to the following principles:
Protection of Mobile Information: No mobile information will be used for marketing/promotional purposes outside of our services. We may use subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, to assist in providing our services. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will be kept confidential.

Where it lives. Form submissions are sent to our customer relationship management system, where our team can see and respond to them. Access is limited to Trained Advisor staff who need it to do their job.
Security. This site is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
How Long We Retain Your Data:
Contact records. We keep your contact record for as long as you are a client or a live prospect, and for up to three years after your last interaction with us, so that we have context if you come back. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Analytics. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in that product, after which it is aggregated or deleted by Google.
Your Rights Over Your Data:
You can ask us to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@trainedadvisor.com and we will action it.
Opting out of marketing: use the unsubscribe link at the foot of any email, or reply STOP to any text message.
Opting out of analytics: you can install Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, use your browser’s cookie controls, or browse in a private window.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR. We honor those requests regardless of where you live. Ask and we will do it.
Where Your Data Is Sent:
We use the following service providers, and information you submit may be processed by them on our behalf:
GoHighLevel — our customer relationship management and email platform, which stores contact records and sends our email and SMS.
Google — Analytics and Tag Manager for website measurement, and YouTube for embedded video.
Meta — advertising measurement on our booking pages.
Our hosting provider — which serves this website and keeps standard server logs.
Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not pass it to other marketers.
This site is operated from the United States and information you submit is processed there.

We update this policy when what we actually do changes. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced separately, so it is worth a glance if you are about to submit something.
