Joe Loebach
He builds the machinery behind Trained Advisor — the automations, workflows and AI systems that put life insurance and annuity advisors in front of qualified prospects without adding hours to their week.
Joe's background is in marketing systems, sales infrastructure and high-performance coaching, working across industries from online businesses to commercial real estate before partnering with Tyson Bailey to build Trained Advisor.
His focus is the engine behind the scenes: the automations, workflows and AI tools that power every client campaign. He designed the systems that let advisors generate leads without adding hours to their week, and he coaches them on how to get the most out of it all. If something can be made smarter, faster or more hands-off, that's Joe's lane.
He leads Trained Advisor's technology and AI direction, and he is co-author of Predictable Prospecting.
How He Got Here
The short version, in his own words and then the long one.
I refused to come out of the pandemic as the same person who went in.
Joe LoebachIn 2020 Joe was bartending in Chicago and flew to Mexico for a friend's wedding. While he was there the bar was bought out and the new management fired everyone. He got the news by phone. Flying back, he ended up quarantined in the city for fourteen days with a suitcase packed for five, and everything else left behind.
No money, no car, bad credit, no degree, no plan. He went on unemployment and gave himself two options: pay off the debt, get back to zero and find another bar, or learn a high-value skill and take the risk.
He took the second one. He reached out to someone he had admired for years, they answered, and he handed over effectively everything he had left to work with them — then did every single thing they told him to do. Inside three months he had grown an ad agency to a six-figure run rate. Within another month he was earning more per month than he had made in a year behind the bar.
The work that followed was volume: commercial real estate brokers, product launches, business coaches, contractors. Over roughly thirteen months he ran tens of thousands of prospecting conversations and, unusually, tracked almost all of them — which is where the scripts, trackers and systems started. That habit of instrumenting everything is what he brought to Trained Advisor in 2022, and it is still the thing he is actually known for.
What He Actually Does at Trained Advisor
Tyson runs the offer and the coaching. Joe runs everything that has to work while nobody is watching.
The campaign engine. Every advisor campaign runs on infrastructure Joe designed: the outreach sequencing, the CRM plumbing inside Advisor Nexus, the automations that move a prospect from a first message to a booked call without anyone re-typing anything.
The AI layer. He leads Trained Advisor's AI direction, which in practice means finding the places where a machine can carry work an advisor would otherwise do by hand, and then building the thing rather than writing a memo about it.
The coaching. Systems nobody can operate are decoration, so he also teaches advisors how to run what he builds.
